Q: Why are there transparent windows in the portal?
A: This is generally caused by multiple FollowMyHealth themes being stored in the web browsers cache. You need only to clear your cookies and temporary internet data, which removes all the theme data stored in the browser.
This happens because when a user goes to a FollowMyHealth web for one organization, that theme is stored, and when entering the MacGregor portal, Follow My Health tries to load more than one theme.
Q: I had a portal account that no longer works. What happened?

A: Maintaining your privacy is our top priority and we have taken the necessary steps to ensure we meet your expectations as well as all federal and state privacy laws.
In order to allow people to simply sign into FollowMyHealth™ Universal Health Record without needing to create a new email address, we offer our FollowMyHealth (FMH) Secure Login.
You may also use existing accounts with Facebook, Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft Account (formerly known as “Windows Live ID”) through Open Authentication, using a standard protocol to securely authorize users. We will not utilize any additional information from these third party organizations other than what is required to help you gain access to your FollowMyHealth record through their username and password for you. FollowMyHealth does not store your username and password for these particular authentication providers, and your credentials will continue to be maintained by them as well.
In compliance with federal patient privacy regulations, all transmitted data is encrypted during this process. The data storage is also encrypted for protection. Your login occurs over Secure Socket Layer (SSL, shown as HTTPS in your browser’s address bar), which is an industry standard providing secure communication over the internet used by sites such as online marketplaces or financial institutions.

The first time that you create a FollowMyHealth record using one of the Open Authentication accounts (Facebook, Yahoo, Google, and Microsoft Account), you will be asked to share some basic information from your connecting account so that FollowMyHealth will be allowed to use them for authorization. Please be mindful that each provider has a different authentication confirmation request. For example, using your Microsoft Account to login will ask to grant access to view your profile info and contact list. While approval of this step is necessary, rest assured that the only information obtained from this request is your username. FollowMyHealth will NOT be utilizing the potential public information contained in your authenticating accounts pictures, contacts, friends, etc. and will NOT release and/or sell your identifiable information to other organizations, people, etc. To be clear, the authentication provider with which you choose to use as your login, will NOT have access to your FollowMyHealth record or its information

A: The notification message above is due to the end-user trying to create an FMH Secure Login account using a username that already exists within the FMH Secure Login database. Please note an FMH Secure Login is NOT the same thing as a FollowMyHealth account. FMH Secure Login is merely the login used for the FollowMyHealth account, and can exist independently.
All usernames are pooled into the same location, so Org A has a patient with the FMH Secure Login username of “hughmann”. Org B has a patient trying to register a username using the same one, but gets the notification message. This is because it already exists in the database, so no one else can use it.
This notification message will become more and more prevalent as our user base grows, meaning the end-user will need to create a more creative username (e.g. numbers, variations on their name, hobbies, etc..) that is easy for them to remember.
This situation could also possibly happen if the end-user clicks the “Continue” button more than once, which resubmits the form to create the account. The first click will process the account creation, but any subsequent clicks will stop the page from redirecting to the correct page and produce the above notification message.

A: Forgot Your Password? From FMH Secure Login, the end-user enters his/her username and selects ‘Forgot Your Password?’
Password Reset: The end-user is directed to FMH Password Reset: “To reset your password, enter your username and select ‘Reset’. You will then receive an email with instructions on how to complete this process.” Reset Password Request Sent. After requesting a password reset, the end-user is presented with Reset Password Request Sent. Please Note : Clicking this link disables reset requests for that FMH secure account for 24 hours.
Email Update: FMH Secure Login Password Reset Request. The end-user is emailed a link to complete the password reset process.
Choose link: Reset Password If the end-user chooses Reset Password, he/she is taken to Update Password: Password Updated After saving a new password, the end-user is presented with a confirmation that the password has been updated successfully. After successfully saving a new password, the end-user will also receive a confirmation email that the password has been changed successfully.

A: FollowMyHealth™ does not presently allow for the retrieval of usernames by the user. Presently, it is advised that users check previous email for the username as the FMH Secure Login process sends the username as part of the registration/creation process. Should the you be unable to locate the e-mail, the account needs to be disconnected, and a new invitation sent so that an account with a new username can be created.
