The University of Antioquia Medical School in Medellin, Colombia granted an M.D. degree to Dr. Roldan and he completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a year-long stint as a Chief Resident. He also completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease as well as a Fellowship in Geriatrics and Palliative Care at the University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio.

The University of Antioquia Medical School in Medellin, Colombia granted an M.D. degree to Dr. Roldan. He completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a year-long stint as a Chief Resident. In addition he spent time as a research fellow in Infectious Disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio. He completed a Fellowship in Geriatrics and Palliative Care at the UTHSC as well. He joined MacGregor Medical Association before becoming a partner at MacGregor Medical Center of San Antonio in 2000. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He and his wife, also a physician, rejoice in their two daughters.
